Loaded unit grain shuttle train amid a beautiful winter sunset...
Author: jmulhol2

A 116-car, >6,700-foot-long, >16,500-ton, 1x2 eastbound (geographically southbound) loaded unit grain shuttle train, made up entirely of three-bay-covered hoppers, is seen here passing MP00.35 on BNSF's Glasston Subdivision in Grand Forks, ND, during the sunset hour of 11/26/2022. This train was loaded in the loop-track at the "Walsh Grain Terminal, LLC" elevator in Park River, ND, located along BNSF's Hannah Subdivision and is bound for Memphis, TN (and perhaps beyond). After this train enters the BNSF Grand Forks train yard, the two DPUs will become the leaders of this train as a fresh crew hops onboard ready to take the train out of town.

The BNSF 4000 and Warbonnet 709 rolled EB thru Ritzville, WA at 1112am on 11/20/22. The 4000 was on the direct point.
