More from The Floor...
These are a few extras from Soda Springs.  Soda Springs is usually the Stockton Tower of Donner, lots of guys in lawn chairs happily collecting low hanging fruit.  But there weren't too many fans here this day.  Mostly locals who'd happened by.  The Rotary nearly always pauses here for a moment.  It's a guaranteed still shoot.

Thanks to everyone for this great coverage of snow fighting in the Sierras.
Snow has been sparse in PA this year, so this has kept me going! Some beautiful images have been shared here. Kudos to those fortunate enough to make it trackside and airborne. My heart is with you! When it's all over, would be nice to see a book on Donner snowfighting over the years. All the best to the UP snowfighters.
Be safe and keep up the good work.

Great pics. At least they have a handle on the snow, but I wonder how much longer till flooding knocks out the route elsewhere?

More great images, SR - thanks! Cutting room floor...hardly!

And every time I see a side view of the 207, I never ceased to be amazed at those small, short wheelbase fabricated trucks. All of that weight on those little guys - but I guess that's the point. Seein' is believin'....
