I am reminded of the joke when UP and SP merged. A SP employee was asking his boss what the new merged railroad would called.  Simple, the boss said, they're going to use their FIRST name, and our LAST name..............

No matter what the herald will be, I think Lt. Frank Drebin said it best in the movie Naked Gun. You can look it up on that video site.

They should have either just left the name alone, or go with Canadian Southern.

Ir's been many years, but that might be a problem since, I believe, there was a railroad by that name under the Michigan Central fold. For example, Indiana Rail Road went with that instead of Indiana Railroad (because of legal ramifications), though the interurban corporate has been gone a long time, AFIK.
