Western Railroad Discussion > Red Rock, Snow, and an EMDDate: 03/18/23 11:26 Red Rock, Snow, and an EMD Author: MacBeau Five miles above Dell on the Glenwood Sub, an eastbound 3x2 climbs toward Bond and a meet with Amtrak #5 last month. After nothing on previous trips along the Dotsero Cutoff, this was like hitting the lottery. The ambient temperature was actually better as well than the –12° it had been at sunrise.
