Western Railroad Discussion > UP Giving Rotary 222 Another TryDate: 03/30/23 07:05 UP Giving Rotary 222 Another Try Author: BoilingMan Went by Dutch Flat at 0630.
Bed warm. Thang like. SR Date: 03/30/23 09:29 Re: UP Giving Rotary 222 Another Try Author: FishinJeeper I sure hope they don't get everything done today and run tomorrow! I had planned on being in Truckee early tomorrow morning for work.
Posted from Android Date: 03/30/23 09:50 Re: UP Giving Rotary 222 Another Try Author: BoilingMan As I understand it the goal here is to once again test the 222 which, so far, has been a problem child. They were to meet a Spreader at Shed 10 and work East.
I think the 207 is in Truckee (has been, for a while now) so the two will be combined there and…. ?? Wait? Return to Truckee? Dunno. SR I May drive up this afternoon and have a look. Date: 03/30/23 09:55 Re: UP Giving Rotary 222 Another Try Author: traindave sounds about right but they have taken the track out of service betwen shed 10 and shed 47, so not going to be working east of shed 47 but still will likely go to truckee
Date: 03/30/23 11:38 Re: UP Giving Rotary 222 Another Try Author: traindave they are done working, spreader n rotary heading to truckee
Date: 03/30/23 11:52 Re: UP Giving Rotary 222 Another Try Author: BoilingMan Sounds like the 222 put in a good day?
SR Date: 03/30/23 13:09 Re: UP Giving Rotary 222 Another Try Author: donner_dude1 No Delays today. They were done plowing at 1130am at Soda Sprngs.
After a short stop at Soda Springs they headed east and gave the Railroad back to DS 9 after they passed Norden. They just passed the detector at 203 so they should be tying up soon in Truckee.
