moments before the "run-around".......
Author: goneon66

after a great 5 day vacation in florida, it was time to get back out trackside in the "dry heat" of the seligman sub on a beautiful 79 degree day.

today i was rewarded with an e/b 3x1 intermodal (with a warbonnet) on main track #2 being "run-around" by a 4x0 e/b z train on main #1 just moments later w/of hackberry, az.

time for mapboy: approx. 1550 hrs az time (pst).........

Nice catch 66 of two fast trains at the same spot.

I'm just getting around to viewing this, good video!  The 3x1 from NorCal with autos is the alternating Q-STOALT6 (origin MoTuThSa) and Q-STOATG6 (WeFrSu).  I'm gonna say you got the Wednesday Q-STOATG6.  Running around him is the Z-LACCHI8, with his usual Unlimited Carrier trailer.  Out of LAC around 05:00 Thursday-Sunday, no better train for seeing trailers in the west, up to 100 of them.  I hadn't seen the Pottle's Transportation or W. O. Wolding trailers before.  Today’s past Cajon railcam at 07:33 had 90 trailers.
