Western Railroad Discussion > Two CN motors run light with funky horn on leader - Drayton LocalDate: 05/29/23 20:39 Two CN motors run light with funky horn on leader - Drayton Local Author: jmulhol2 A pair of eastbound (geographically southbound) foreign-power light engines are today's power for BNSF's "Drayton Local" seen here passing MP00.35 on the BNSF Glasston Subdivision during the stormy late afternoon hours of 05/29/2023. These engines earlier lead westbound (geographically northbound) with a small cut of cars (mostly old open-top hopper cars). The lead motor, which wears severe burn/fire scars, displays its funky horn at this normally-quiet-zone public crossing.
