Thought I'd share some recent action from the Chicagoland area over the past month. Enjoy the start of your weekend!

1) DOTX 221 on the head end of the inbound California Zephyr. 2/4/24

2) Metra's Milwaukee heritage unit pauses at Roselle with an outbound. 2/4/24

3) A rare pair of KCS "Grey Ghosts" leads CPKC 249 past the Lake Cook Road Metra station on the south side of Deerfield. 2/10/24

4) Amtrak 174, the first P42 in the new Phase VII scheme, leads the outbound Capitol Limited past a waiting NS stack train in Whiting, IN, seen here just outside the Mascot Hall of Fame. 2/10/24

5) KCSM 4565 leads CPKC 180 past the historic Bartlett Depot Museum in Bartlett, IL. 2/15/24

6) CN 3008, the Illinois Central heritage unit, leads CN M342 past JB Tower (a former EJ&E structure) in West Chicago.

Thanks for the great night shots. I particularly like #1, taken in my hometown. I spent many an hour watching trains there.

Excellent photos!  Nice catch on the IC heritage unit.  I haven't seen a photo of that locomotive posted previously on Trainorders.
