In South TX for a few days and was able to break away to chase on the Laredo Sub.

I was unaware that KCS calls signals - I really enjoy that - and makes it easy for the chase.    Quite busy on the sub - however the weather was less-than-favorable - as it was cloudy (and stormy) most of the time.   But, at least the colorful wildflowers were out for a few of my shots.

Railfan friendly area - especially in the smaller towns - and except for the occasional curious stray dog(ssss) and a curious Border Agent(ssssss) and kept an eye out for snakes (but saw none).

I was farther down the line on the 20th and also caught CP 7030 rolling west thru Benavides.

How many trains run the line between Houston and Laredo on a daily basis?

Thanks for sharing. Robstown was a shove and pull move with MoPac in the 1980's. Tex Mex trains went through Corpus Christi. Big time now.
