Just thought I'd add what I know from your picture. The SP SD45 is a rebuilt unit probably a 7400 class rblt at Sacramento back in the 80's. The next unit over is definatley a TEBU most of which were rebuilt from retired SP U25b's. This is a 1600 series unit on the ol SP. Most were paired with GP40/-2'S. The third unit is definatley a DRGW GP30 appears to be no. 3026. Rio Grande GP30's stopped at the 3028 in the series. It was retired by the DRGW/SP in early 1995.The second photo shows a SP B30-7 7857. This unit appears in the post merger Speed Lettering scheme so it has to be after 1995. Hope this helps Date: 07/01/01 12:28 RE: Help I.D. SP engines in El Paso Author: enrailway Left to right.
