Murphy Bros' store seen in 2002 crumbling away in the desert beside the BNSF main lines.. Here's a link to how the store looked before the Hector Mine quake crumbled it more in October of 1999. I'll have to go through my pictures to see if I had even taken a picture of it before the quake. Ludlow is a busy little place in the middle of nowhere. It has a motel, a cafe, a Chevron station that open 24 hrs. and a 76 station with a Dairy Queen!!.. |
