Oddity Submission
Author: friscojoe

BNSF 4625 idles at Devore while Amtrak #4 streaks by on October 25, 2003. The California wildfires rage on in the hills to the north and west of Devore. In less than 12 hours this spot will be overrun by fire itself and the mainline shut down while fire crews battle the blazes adjacent to the BNSF and UP mainlines.

Friscojoe - that's about the most dramatic artistic railway photo I have ever seen. Thanks for posting t.

That looks really cool.

Question. On a post like this, is it considered OK to use that picture as desktop on your computer? It look great, especially with a black border.

Friscojoe,
As echoed in previous posts regards this photo, it's probably the best I've seen also. This one's simply as classic.
