Western Railroad Discussion > FURX on the HIGHLINE

I love railranning the highline, but I have noticed that BNSF runs alot of sd 40-2 that are FURX and other leasing companies. alot of them seem to be recently painted in BNSF colors prior to being sold. isnt that kinda piontless to pay however much to have it repainted and then sell it? And I live out here in antioch(bay area), and all we ever see on manifests are gp 60m's light GE power and alot sd 40-2's none of which are FURX and other leasing companies. so why all the leasing companies up there on the highline and not out here? Dave, hopefully you can help me with this one...
