DRGW 3109 is on the UP local to Ft. Collins, woo-hoo! I was talking to the conductor about the 3111 and I get the impression the 3109 got on the lead becuase I let them know how many of us appreciate it...if you see them, let them know too.

Anyway, I was surprised to see the gyralight still functional this last dark Wednesday...how many left? Pretty cool effect, wish I had my video camera...

Wow, good catch. I remember seeing the 3106 with a working
gyralite back in 1994 and I thought that it was rare then. Who
would have thought there would still be one (or more) running
around in 2004!

Seems the FC local has been on a little different schedule lately;
yesterday or day before it left town around 9:30 or 10 a.m, running light back to LaSalle.
Thats normally about the time they use to get here (I work next to the tracks)
Although lately its normally closer to 11 a.m or later that it arrives in F.C. ;
anybody know why the change ?

I would guess since they were light they didn't have much to do that day. I consistently see them along Riverside aroound noon usually...
