In light of the UP meltdown...this question seems trivial...and is but,

When did UP 5220 enter service?

Was she on the "ballast train" when you saw it. Looked like a brand new unit rounding the curve coming out of Lincoln. Made the Building America scheme look really great!

Same train, its headed for Dunmuir for the tie work they are doing up there.
