Western Railroad Discussion > Dunsmuir Railroad DaysDate: 07/09/05 15:36 Dunsmuir Railroad Days Author: odub Dunsmuir Railroad Days actually centered on railroads this year. UP, Feather River Historical Society (name?), Sacramento State RR Museum, and the Motorcar Operators West all had equipment for folks to climb on. The parade was pure Siskiyou County.
UP even ran trains to liven things up even more. Date: 07/09/05 15:37 Re: Dunsmuir Railroad Days Author: odub Was a pretty good turnout. Merchants along Sacramento Street indicated this was the best turn-out in several years and attributed it to the real railroad equipment just across the street.

Who had the Milwaukee Road baseball cap? Wasn't able to determine who was who. I'm the balding guy with the beer belly and a camera, should have worn my Hawian shirt. |
