Western Railroad Discussion > UP SBA sub fans--view dipatchers gone wild in the makinDate: 07/20/05 10:34 UP SBA sub fans--view dipatchers gone wild in the makin Author: pdt Just turned my scanner on this am in Paso Robles...
3 SB UP frts in the last 2 hrs,. As of 10am, 1 in SLO, 1 in Santa Margarita, 1 behind him. Santa Margarita train may be oil cans as it had 170 axles (39 cars + power), and was asking for pushers to be sent back north to attach to head end. No mention of "oil cans" on the air, though. All 3 will need to meet 799 northbound, and 14 which will be late due to late arrival of 11 yesterday. Expect Guadalupe switcher to have a light day, so he'll probably be in the hole at Calendar or Guadalupe. Any news or photos from the SBA sub today would be appreciated. Thanks, Beth Date: 07/20/05 17:30 Re: UP SBA sub fans--view dipatchers gone wild in the m Author: chilli Sounds just like another "typical day" when I was dispatching SLO to Dayton Ave LA in the early 90's.
And CTC was only out to Gemco... The stories I could tell. And will, eventually. |
