Barstow & BNSF Needles Sub Thunderstorms Today
Author: CimaScrambler

From the weather radar, and the view out my east-facing windows, it looks like Barstow and the western part of the Needles Sub are being pelted big time with thunderstorms carrying rain that shows up as a nice crimson on the radar map. Anybody foolish enough to be out there should be lucky enough to get some killer storm light photos!

God you aren't kidding, I don't remember the last time we had this many monsoonal storms this far west. In New mexico we used to get them all the time, even Arizona and occasionally Far east California. But Riverside, jeez. I guess this is the beginning of the whole climatic change thing they all warn us about.

We had a brief thunderstorm here in the Tooele Valley, should've taken a shot ! But I was too busy drooling over the new SD70ACes...
