URL for TV news of UP 844 - VERY well done! - Hutchinso
Author: MargaretSPfan

Here is the URL for a really GOOD TV news piece on the UP 844 in Hutchinson, KS,
done by KAKE-TV 10, on May 3, 2006. They got ALL the facts right! AND they did
NOT stand too close to the tracks, either, when filming the piace.

Well done, KAKE-TV 10!

Margaret (UP 844/8444 fan)

As an aside, KAKE-TV has a solid reputation for good journalism. Did Larry Hatteburg report the story?

It was Chris Frank who reported the story. He has been with the station for quite a while (10 years?) and does a really good job!

Cheers

They did a nice job, none of the cornball whacko stuff the media is usually dishing out. Not once did I hear someone say Oooold 844 or anything like that. Good for them!
Nice to see Nasty at the throttle too.

Speaking of Larry, I was told that Lloyd Stagner was to be on Hatteberg's People April 29. This was the day 844 arrived in Salina for a 1 day layover. How cool is that, eh?
