While the website states that it is not intended be a complete listing of steam excursions, based on what I've read on Train Orders regarding excursions, the John McIvor, the webmaster (and a TO member) does an excellent job of compiling information on these trips.
http://www.hvweb.co.uk/svs/diary.htm You can also check Union Pacific's excursion website: http://www.uprr.com/aboutup/excurs/steamtr.shtml In addition to the Frontier Days Excursions, there are positioning trips between Denver and Cheyenne. In previous years, one-way trips from Denver to Cheyenne were offered with a bus ride back to Denver. These were sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club. I do not know if they will be offered this year. I rode the one-way 2002 excursion with 3985 and had a great time. Dave Date: 01/20/07 11:59 Re: Steam in July? Author: JohnMcIvor Hi Dave!
