Steam & Excursion > Scenic steam on the tubeDate: 03/09/09 09:33 Scenic steam on the tube Author: 1372 Beautifully done series "America's Steam Railways" on PBS (though did a Brit come up with the title?). Gorgeous shots and excellent spread of different RRs. Have to laugh about the Grand Canyon Rwy segment, though: how many disappointed riders will show up expecting steam? As Nelson would say, HA-HA! Me, I'm ridin' the Kettle Valley this summer. Ta! Kurt.

Too much "touchy-feely", kiddie stuff in it for me. I just watched for the steam, but the banjo pickin' throughout the steam scenes kinda blotted out the sounds of the engines. I know! I know! Mellow out, old man! You're too picky! We like banjo pickin'! Sheesh!
