This early 3-truck Shay gave decades of service hauling logs out of the woods. Clark Kinsey caught her one morning with her crew proudly posing by her as she pants away, ready to couple on to the next string of loads. Can anyone tell me who she is and where she is today? There were a few coal fired loggers in Washington, but darn few. That is why I thought the coal boards would give away this Shay. I have a bell off a 70-ton Baldwin Logging Mike that was a coal burner throughout her life in Washington State. The inside of the bell is STILL caked with coal dust!! Martin Edited 1 time(s).
