NKP 765: No Spring Hanger

I stopped by Owosso yesterday to check out the progress on NKP 765. She's without the spring hanger right now and I was told at Owosso that the spring plate was repaired in Fort Wayne by welding, and the part will be returned and reinstalled for the trip a week from today (2011-10-15.)

Yep, reinstalled and all fixed before dark today, Saturday, Oct. 8.
