Wanted to let the forum know that the revamped website for the Virginia & Truckee Railroad Historical Society at http://www.vtrrhs.org is now up and ready for viewing. The site includes information about the Society, ability to join online, information about research sources and research on this topic as well as Comstock/Virginia City history, online purchasing of the Society's publications and newsletters and the latest information about the 2013 conference.

I'm going to post this on the Nostalgia & History forum as well, so forgive the duplicate posting.

Also, and I don't want to open a can of worms with this (I know that there are politics involved), but did the V&T and the fellow who owns #8 (at Gold Hill) ever have discussions or come to an agreement if that loco can use some of the V&T line?
