A Few Soo Line 1003

Does anybody have any updates about 1003? The website http://steamlocomotiveheritage.org does not provide much information since the hot bearing problem last October. Hopefully she will be back in action soon.

Here are a few from her last photo charter in October 2010, which is covered on our "Wisconsin Steam Stories" DVD.

The annual inspection work was started on the locomotive last weekend. No official plans for operating her at this time, although a few things are being discussed. Any operations will depend on the willingness of a host railroad. Please watch the website for any announcements.

Thanks for posting some wonderfully done photos of the 1003. I must agree with the choice of B&W for the photos, it really brings you back in time and completes the scene.
