Steam & Excursion > I Saw a BoilerDate: 08/11/13 19:47 I Saw a Boiler Author: Auburn_Ed A few years back, about 1981-82, I saw a steam locomotive on a flat-bed truck. Auburn, WA, it was a larger locomotive, 8 drivers and whatever, I can't remember and didn't get photos, it headed south out of a truck-yard here. I never found out where it was going, but as I recall, a few years later someone said it was an ex-GN engine, maybe went to the Grand Canyon, but was not used. Anyone have the facts here?

Martin Date: 08/12/13 06:26 Re: I Saw a Boiler Author: Auburn_Ed Thanks a lot, I appreciate the info, it looks like the GN Consolidation.
