NYC Ten wheeler data request

Good evening to all, anyone could tell me how many tons of coal was carried in the NYC 4-6-0 F12e serie, I am painting a model and need that data for the tender

NYCman can't answer that. Were there different tenders hauled behind the F-12 class? If so, there would be different tonnage annotations, if in fact they even did that back when 4-6-0s were running. Notice the difference in the tenders on these two, might be the same, but one has elevated coal boards which would allow a lot more coal. Both of these from the Vollrath collection.

A diagram for the F-2, F-12 shows 12 tons of coal and 7,000 gallons of water.

PSC did a run of these in brass with factory paint in the early 1990's. I have 2 different versions with different tenders. Will check at home tonight and report back re coal and water data.
