Steam & Excursion > NYC Ten wheeler data requestDate: 08/20/14 18:45 NYC Ten wheeler data request Author: Charls Good evening to all, anyone could tell me how many tons of coal was carried in the NYC 4-6-0 F12e serie, I am painting a model and need that data for the tender
Thank you Charls Date: 08/20/14 18:52 Re: NYC Ten wheeler data request Author: HotWater I suggest that you checkout the New York Central Historical Society website.

If so, there would be different tonnage annotations, if in fact they even did that back when 4-6-0s were running. Notice the difference in the tenders on these two, might be the same, but one has elevated coal boards which would allow a lot more coal. Both of these from the Vollrath collection.
