Steam & Excursion > Huckleberry Railroad (DRGW 464) Saturday Evening

We made our annual trip north on Saturday to visit the Huckleberry Railroad for the Halloween Train pulled by the 1903 Baldwin 2-8-2 464 and despite the cold damp weather a good time was had by the entire family. I figured I'd share a few shots with you good folks.

They have some wonderful pieces of equipment too. The NPC car is very nice.

That is a great trip in the snow, you can get on the last car and watch the rooster tails swirl behind you. the Christmas music is a bit much (for me), but it's a nice jaunt.

Is the NPC car the one that's taller than the others?

No, it is the one that is in the shop and has never been put into service.

Yes, they do during Rafan Weekend. Either first or second weekend in August. My shop tour photos are on TO. Check search Hukleberry RR here for them. Larry
