Highgrove CA wye
Author: Spikes

A new Metrolink commuter track near the Highgrove, CA junction will create a wye on BNSF, often used to turn a steam locomotive. Other local  BNSF or UP wyes I see exist at Colton, San Bernardino, Pedley, Industry, and LA.

Orange, Fallbrook Jct could be used if needed to be Escondido Jct, Cubres on Miramar Hill. there is one at La Mirada and Pico Rivera.

Will the Highgrove connection (the one that's always been there) or the new "east end" of the wye also get upgraded by Metrolink?

This is going on the assumption that the organization who owns the steam locomotive has a good working rapport with the Class One carrier.

Need I elaborate further?
