It's the late afternoon of September 15, 2012 in North Canton, Ohio, and Central Ohio 1293 (ex-OHCR 1293) steams her special CVSR excursion train south towards Canton, Ohio on CVSR trackage. Today the CVSR no longer uses this trackage, and Central Ohio 1293 hasn't been on the CVSR since 2012.

Too bad. Also, that bridge seems to be in good shape to handle a lot more in the future!
 

Pretty sure that bridge is a 100% new structure replaced by Akron Metro who owns the Sandyville line south of Akron.

I believe it stopped running to Canton last year.

2013 was the last year of Canton service.

Their wasn't much ridership to begin with and then an older lady ran the gates and was hit and killed by the train at North Canton. After that they quit regular service although they still sometimes run total track tours which use the line. Wheeling and Lake Erie handles local service for the few remaining customers.
