an excursion to Carbondale’s (PA) Pioneer Days – Ethnic Heritage on August 20th had Lackawanna 664 and Delaware-Lackawanna 405 for motive power heading north with a seven car consist of what looked like full coaches on August 20th. The scheduled departure time was 10 AM from Steamtown  and is seen here passing by the Archbald station at 12:29. Demand for the Heritage Explorer Train  excursion resulted in the addition of two more passenger cars from Steamtown NHS and that 120 more tickets were released for sale on August 8th.
