It Was A Good Thing We Cancelled Our OCSR Trips Last Weekend!
Author: LoggerHogger

We have started to assess the damage we recieved on the Oregon Coast Scenic RR from this weekend's strong rain and wind storms.  So far all we have found is this washout just north of Rockaway, Oregon.  We are sure to find trees down as we move up the Nehalem River Canyon as well.

All in all, it was a smart call to cancel our weekend trips.  We are now working to restore this washout and to look for others.

Maybe a bigger one is needed then. That's a lot of water flowing.

We already have a culvert there.  Just not big enough for all the debris that came down.

Martin let's get going on this in style!!! Do you have a steam powered shovel out to clear the debris?
