In case you are wondering why the two numbers on the front, one is her Duluth and Northeastern number, the other is her Duluth Missabe & Iron Range number

The first and third shots were taken by Steve Glischinski; I don't know who took the second photo. However, the fourth and fifth shots are mine (no problems here - LSRM has permission to use them). For those interested, the fourth photo shows No. 28 passing the Wm. Irvin ore boat in Duluth at the beginning of its second test run on Sunday, April 23rd. The fifth photo shows No. 28 backing out of the North Shore Scenic shop for its first test run on the same day.

Despite the bad weather, it was a great afternoon to be trackside!

Here are a few more from Sunday. Steve Louze in the cab of No. 28 at Lakeside, and No. 28 steaming over Tischer Creek.

You took a news event and added great action images to make these "A+" photos.

Should anyone be in Duluth, it is well worth the time to take the tour through the William A. Irvin ore boat.
