Out back of the T&P shops in Ft Worth's Lancaster yard 2-10-4's stand in line waiting for overhauls. 7 of them appear in this picture, 10% of the 70 T&P owned. The depression might have had something to do with that number of them.

Also in the picture to right is a 0-8-0 working the east end of the rip tracks grabbing repaired cars. The two buildings are on the RIP track. Between the stored engines and the 0-8-0 you will note two box cars, a coach, and a flat car with ties in it. That is the back part of the wreck response train and the track there remained the same through the 1980's.
