I was shooting at the V point of the Y in the visitor center parking lot. That area is always green and kind of swampy I'm sure it's feed by a natural spring.

The Nevada State theme is "Battle Born".
Use of flags/bunting on locomotives on the 4th dates back more than a century.
I was up there on the 4th also.

I was there on July 1 and got cab rides in #25, #22 "The Inyo" and the narrow gauge mogul Glenbrook!

I'm sure they meant no disrespect to the flags, but I would agree they are a little big for such a small engine. Personally, I'd go with flags about a quarter that size, two Nevada flags on the pilot and two next to the headlight. Maybe even some RWB bunting on the tender and cab.
