A few from the sunny day on the North Shore Scenic RR charter last week, with No. 28 back to it's normal appearance.

These are wonderful and made me want to be there myself. I'm glad you decided to share your images with us.

Good pix, especially the last 2. Was that a members only thing, or do they keep a mailing list for future trips?

As posted elsewhere this was a private charter.

Nice stuff. That has to be about the only operational restored stock car in the USA.

These photos don't exactly depict its "normal appearance." It's wearing correct 1960s-era headlight numberboards, and the yellow trim (correct for the 1960s) is gaffer tape. Both were removed after the charter.

Cumbres and Toltec has several restored stock cars. Thanks also for the correction on normal appearance. I was referring only to the number and lettering change. I didn't even notice the headlight had been changed but see it now in looking at the photos from the two days. Too busy with the cameras I guess.

Here are a few more of "DM&IR" 332 on Thursday. This was one great charter!

And the next day, as D&NE 28. A familiar t/o contributor in the engineer's seat in photo #1.

The night before, "DM&IR 332" in Duluth, alone and with stable-mate. Dan Mackey in a starring role as brakeman, former RBB&B train master Brett Goertenmoeller as engineer.

Great set of photographs from all contributors. Good to know some names from the event, and enjoyed meeting you all. Chris UK.
