Little bit of front engine wheel slip action, as well as a meet with an eastbound block of refrigerator cars.  We have had fantastic weather.

Entire segment (with a couple of signal drop outs) including the ~20 minutes of the unscheduled stop there can be found on the Trains magazine FB page as they were doing a live feed from the south side of the tracks at Carter (and even did a nice interview with a local there who gave the history of the town).

Nice video, only thing I really can't stand is the look at those refrigorator cars on that Eastbound Fruit block, that just stinks!

Very nice.  I happened to catch the TRAINS Mag live on facebook just in time for this departure.  They were down on the crossing.  I think your shot was far better as you were west of them and got more start-up.  Lovely weather as well! Good job!

Out of curiosity, is there a problem with the left front cylinder on 4014, or is the “leaking steam” discharge considered normal?
