Great image, king indeed! It was a thrill to see it pass in Echo canyon with my father, son, daughter, and sister. My father attended the University of Iowa in the early 1950’s and remembers well seeing big boys in regular operation in the canyon on his trips to and from his home in Utah. It was a special day.

It would be nice to see steam run sometime without a diesel in the consist.  Just sayin ...

I guess you missed all of the 611 excursions and ferry moves between 2015 to the present time. Out of all the moves, a diesel was in the consist for only 3 trips to help stretch fuel.
