The doubleheader yesterday evening/this morning
Author: bobdavis

After the doubleheader had been shut down for the night at Evanston on Sunday, the late afternoon sunshine made for some pretty good "glint" pics of the Big Boy - pic 1.  This morning we went back to the spot east of Evanston where we got the train heading west a week ago, and got it again - pic 2 - downgrade this time, but it sure looked good!  We followed it to Granger, where I'd say at least 500 people were waiting.  My pics from there were only so-so, with lots of "lens lice", but the doubleheader sure sounded great getting out of town after the service stop.  Hope somebody posts some video from that!

That glint shot almost appears to be a back in the day shot.  Nice

I lightened up the sunset shot a bit and that might make it a little better.

Glad the UP 4014 trip back across Wyoming is going so well.  The UP Steam Crew has been busy.  Sunset found UP 4014 Big Boy being admired by folks at Ogden, Utah.  Last night there was 11 May 2019.
