Steam & Excursion > Narrow Gauge 2-6-2 Going from Iowa to ColoradoDate: 06/04/19 08:59 Narrow Gauge 2-6-2 Going from Iowa to Colorado Author: Agent Yesterday, the Baldwin-built 2-6-2 Prairie No. 12 left the Midwest Central Railroad in Mount Pleasant, Iowa by truck and trailer traveling west on Highway 34 bound for Colorado. The MCRR had leased No. 12 for the past several years from the Georgetown Loop Railroad. After No. 12 returns home, the GLRR will send the MCRR's Lima Shay No. 9 that they had leased in their part of the swap back east.
