Ann Marie is a little Porter 0-4-0T, originally 30" gauge, built for Cortez Mining (near Battle Mountain, Nevada). After the mine closed before World War One the little engine ended up as an exhibit at a Las Vegas casino. The engine is now privatly owned, restored, and rebuilt to 36". The name was added by the current owners. Here it is operating for the Society for the Preservation of Carter Railroad Resources (SPCRR) at Ardenwood Farms Park in Fremont, CA.
