Cumbres and Toltec three of the best

Saturday Oct 19,2019  i was in Chama to ride the train on the Sunday,i had no idea there was a triple header running, talk about good luck..that lead engineer was beaming

Agree....where else in the USA would you see a triple header, let alone a doubleheader!.

Agreed, also I like the look of the locomotives just as they were in the real steam Era, built to haul tonnage not to look pretty and polished up...

Great videos, Dave! My look-back 2 seconds into the departure video was to make sure I was out of the way. I'm glad I was a tiny bit visible, I can see the smile from here! Haha. I still can't believe this happened and I was there for it, it was such a quick trip. I also couldn't believe the way everyone ditched the departure at Lobato the way they did. I think by the time it was pulling you, Westfalen, me, and the patrol vehicles were the only ones left!
