Shot 4: Another Excursion train passing the Pacific Pride Gas Station off of East Telegraph Road. Shot 5: After waiting at the Loose Caboose for the excursion train to clear, #14 gets the mainline. Shot 6: #14 passing the Santa Paula Depot with that awesome black smoke. Is there any reason why FWRY couldn’t do trains from E Ventura to Fillmore.?
Date: 12/03/19 12:02 Re: FWRY #14 Santa Train Chase Author: SP4360 The Ventura County Transportation Commission owns the line and FW can only operate to Bristol Rd MP404.7 without getting permission from Metrolink to operate to the East Ventura Station MP403.4 or .something. UP gets a free ride to Santa Paula.

I thought there was a BMC Lumber or Stock Lumber or something like that in Santa Paula that UP served.
Date: 12/03/19 23:20 Re: FWRY #14 Santa Train Chase Author: SP4360 Spiers is it as a 'normal' customer. There may be a load lumber or pipe show up a couple times a year into Santa Paula for offload, but that may no longer happen.
