Rd. 261 Leaving Muscatine June 2000 Author: AndyBrown June 25, 2000, Milwaukee Road 261 is leaving Muscatine, IA, eastbound on its way home from Kansas City. I forget the purpose of this trip but think it might've been for BN family days excursions out west. Anyone else remember?

The engine was returning home from pulling excursions out of Kansas City for the Milwaukee Road Historical Association's annual convention. Rd. 261 Leaving Muscatine June 2000 Author: Frisco1522 261 is a coal burner, they don't sand flues on coalburners.

Come on Jack, it's obviously a removable slanted oil tank made to look like a coal load. Kidding aside, that is one heck of a load of coal they got in that tender. Tehachapi-TJ Over & Out. It is a coal burner, sanding the flues does not occur on this locomotive.. Date: 03/20/20 19:12 Re: Milw. Rd. 261 Leaving Muscatine June 2000 Author: AndyBrown jderoo Wrote:
