Now if I've got this figured right, the funnel under the oil spout catches drips/spillage from the spout and runs it 150 feet underground to the an outlet near the photographers feet. You couldn't drive around Illinois without running into one of their "peavines" with a homely little engine working it. Loved their whistles. Maybe it is an acquired taste, but I like it.
