Congratulations to the donors who helped restore narrow gauge Rio Grande Southern #20, 4-6-0, to operation at the Colorado Railroad Museum, Golden, Colorado.  Donors celebrated with a private cocktails and dinner event Friday, 31 July 2020.  Public trips behind RGS #20 will occur starting Saturday, 1 August 2020 at the CRRM.  Dedication event scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 1st.

While I didn't donate a lot, I did donate and yet this is the first I heard about the evening "donor" thing.  Interesting!

Congratulations to the Colorado Railroad Museum for getting # 20 running again. I photographed it 30 years ago at the Museum and thought that it was a well proportioned and good looking locomotive. On another thought in the drone photo there appears to be a false front building between some of the cars on the display track. What is that all about?
