GLrr In The Cab.

 Father & Daughter In The Cab. "Its All In The Family". From Our To Do Folder.All of our trains are open air cars with no heat this year. It can be cold in the mountains in the fall so please dress accordingly. This is very helpful....I'd always wondered what the cab end of 111's tiny front end throttle looked like.

Wow, Roger! Excellent video of the Dad/ Daughter duo and like when she takes over and runs for a bit !!
I know of another duo back in Coldwater, MI who run the #110–the smallest Pacific around— so this isn’t the only one, but it’s definitely unique. The high trestle is a little unnerving for me, too- haha

Roger another excellent go pro video from the tender deck really worked well. Shows just what it like to operate this unique locomotive. Excellent film!

Could you tell me what the plaque on the top of the cab says - I couldn't quite make it out.

Isn't this the 40? I'm not 100% sure but it sure looks like it to me. We rode at the end of August and 40 was running and 111 was in the shop getting some spring rigging work. Jennifer was the engineer that day.

I don't remember and I am thinking it was done in 2019.

I can see "....restoration of engine 111...." in the text of the commemorative plate on the back of the cab.
