Steam & Excursion > NKP 765 - 09/17/2011

Ten years ago today (September 17, 2011) the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad ran a trip to Canton, Ohio as part of "Steam in the Valley 2011". I was only able to get photos at three locations on this cloudy/mostly cloudy day. (Some similar images have been posted before today.)
1.) NKP 765 is southbound entering Peninsula, Ohio.
2.) A closer view of 765 in Peninsula.
3.) For some reason she slowed down north of North Canton.

Why do you shoot all of them on telephoto?

Not all were shot with telephoto although I had a 55-200mm zoom on my camera. This is the equivalent of about 82-300mm lens on a full-frame camera.  When I have a normal zoom on my camera, I often shoot using a normal perspective.
Also, some of these are small crops from a much larger image giving them a telephoto perspective.
