Wacky-Roger must be having an identity crisis - he lives in Chama and produces videos for the Cumbres and Toltec! Though it has a high bridge, curves and a steep climb between depots, the three-mile long Georgetown Loop RR really goes nowhere as it is hemmed in by mountains on one side and in view of I-70 and its noise on the other. A round-trip ride up and down the grade takes only 75 minutes. Being just a short trip, it does however whet the appetite for something more spectacular like the 64-mile Cumbres and Toltec through an isolated area of Colorado and New Mexico.

My 3 favorite railroads are all on the list. C&TSRR - Durango Silverton - Georgetown loop. Lucky me everyday I can vote ofr one of them and then at the end of 3 days I can start over.
