Steam & Excursion > Western Pacific Steam running July 2-3

The Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, California is scheduling operation of recently restored 0-6-0 steam engine WP 165 for Saturday & Sunday, July 2nd & 3rd, 2022.

Gates open at 10:00 AM and the museum is open until 5:00 PM both days.  Caboose train operations begin at 11:30 AM and run until 3:00 PM.

Normal admission and train-ride ticket fares apply.

Thank you for posting this; I would not have known about it otherwise.  Chris and I are going to be visiting Portola on July 3rd; it will be my first time to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum.  Looking forward to it.
